Reading comprehension through dramatic art.
Interpreted readings carry a strong emotional component since the child now has to act out what is written, becoming an actor. They will study the script to interpret and express gestures and attitudes. Verbs in these readings are almost always in the indicative mood and third person. Its direct purpose is reading comprehension and interpretation, as well as preparing for dramatic art. Montessori Purpose: To develop reading comprehension and expressive interpretation while fostering oral expression, emotional communication and preparation for dramatic arts.
