This material introduces children to classified vocabulary through beautifully organized nomenclature cards.
Each set includes picture cards and corresponding labels that invite observation, matching, classification and reading. Classified nomenclature is one of the essential Montessori language materials, enriching vocabulary while naturally connecting spoken and written language. Montessori Purpose: To expand vocabulary and encourage early reading through observation, classification and the association of pictures with written words. Material Preparation: Cut out the picture and word cards, laminate them and organize them by category before presenting the material.
