05. Decimal System Cards for the Golden Bead Material
This material complements the Montessori Golden Bead Material, allowing children to build, read, compose and decompose numbers using hierarchical number cards.
It includes number cards from 1 to 1,000, following the traditional Montessori color coding: Units — Green Tens — Blue Hundreds — Red Thousands — Green By combining the cards with the Golden Beads, children discover how place value gives meaning to each digit and how larger numbers are constructed. Montessori Golden Bead Material is not included. Montessori Purpose: To understand the composition and decomposition of numbers within the decimal system through the concrete representation of place value.
