02. Flower Nomenclature
This material invites children to explore the anatomy of a flower through scientific nomenclature and direct observation.
By identifying each part, children discover that every structure plays an important role in the plant's life cycle. The presentation becomes especially meaningful when accompanied by a real flower, allowing children to connect the nomenclature with nature itself. Includes: Seven flower parts. Picture cards. Montessori Purpose To identify and name the main parts of a flower while developing scientific vocabulary and an understanding of plant anatomy. Material Preparation Cut out the cards, glue the front and back together, laminate them and bind them to create the Control Book.
