01. Spelling study

This material introduces children to some of the most common spelling patterns through a gradual and visual exploration.

It includes cards featuring the combinations: e_e, ci, ea, y, ar, igh, qu, ng, i_e, wr, a_e, o, er, ur, ee, i, ir, ew, ai, ay, o_e, ie, kn, oa, u_e, th, ph, oo, ow, oi, oy, ue, oy, sh, or and wh. Allowing children to observe, read and discover their spelling patterns. By classifying, reading and comparing words, children develop a deeper understanding of written language while building a solid foundation for accurate spelling. Montessori Purpose: To introduce children to spelling patterns through observation, analysis and the discovery of relationships between sounds and written language.
